We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join Q2Solutions, IQVIA's laboratory businessat our Austin, TX location.

Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting routine laboratory testing and analytical procedures while ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines. This role supports quality investigations, data analysis, and laboratory process improvements.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Conduct routine data analysis to ensure test results are within acceptable tolerances
  • Identify potential performance errors and escalate concerns to senior lab personnel
  • Prepare and upload data analysis results into the LIMS system under senior-level guidance
  • Assist with quality investigations, deviations, and resolution processes
  • Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis as required
  • Support the review and update of laboratory procedures and techniques
  • Guide entry-level staff in routine procedures and contribute to onboarding efforts

What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science; medical laboratory technology; or cytotechnology (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a specific BSc)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of technical procedures, systems, and assigned laboratory functions
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed for This Role
  • Understanding of regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
  • Proficiency in laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling
  • Experience with laboratory automation and specialized equipment
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $41,400.00 - $103,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
