At Tillamook Vision Center and Pacific Vision, we believe eye care and skin care belong together. Our work in optometry is centered on keeping patients’ eyes healthy and their vision clear. But we also recognize something important: many of our patients want more than just good eyesight—they want their eyes and the skin around them to look healthy, vibrant, and whole.

Right now, our doctors focus on the medical side of eye care, but we see an opportunity to serve patients more completely. Frames may complement appearance, yet questions about makeup, aging, and skin health are often left unanswered. That’s why would like to expand into medical aesthetics —to provide the expertise our patients are already asking for.

We don’t see aesthetics as vanity. We see it as medicine. When a patient seeks Botox, microneedling, or an IPL treatment, it isn’t always about chasing youth. Sometimes, it’s about reclaiming identity after cancer, finding control after trauma, or restoring confidence in the face of grief.

We believe aesthetic clinicians are emotional first responders. When we touch the face, we are often touching far more than skin. That’s why we are looking for an Advanced Licensed Esthetician to help us bring this vision to life in our community.

What You’ll Do:

You will develop and deliver an advanced aesthetic services line, including (but not limited to):

• Microneedling (including RF microneedling)
• IPL photofacial and other advanced light-based therapies (our clinic is equipped with IPL technology)
• Deep chemical peels
• HydraFacial and advanced medical-grade skin care protocols (serums, LED therapy, oxygen facials)
• Botox and injectables (with certification/MD partnership)
• Optional: waxing, lash extensions, spray tanning, and other spa services to round out the menu

You’ll also collaborate with our optometry team to integrate ocular aesthetics —treatments that support not only appearance but also dry eye relief, periocular skin health, and overall wellness.

What We’re Looking For:

• Oregon Esthetician License (required) with Certified Advanced Esthetician (CAE) (microneedling, IPL, chemical peels, etc.)
• Comfort and experience with medical-grade devices and advanced procedures
• A compassionate, professional demeanor, with the ability to connect with patients who may be navigating serious health or life challenges
• Interest in building and shaping a new aesthetics program within an established and trusted eye care clinic
• Optional but desirable: certification in injectables (Botox, fillers) or willingness to train/partner with an MD.

Tillamook Vision Center has been serving patients on the North Oregon coast for more than 30 years. We are a medical optometry clinic in a small town that otherwise would not have access to specialty eye care. We cover all primary eyecare needs: we manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration; we offer both normal and specialty contact lenses including scleral fits and Ortho-Keratology; manage dry eye with the latest Lipiflow technology; comprehensive and vision exams; additionally we showcase the newest fashions in eyewear.
