Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic and growing team in the pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution services industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing journal entries, performing financial reconciliations, and supporting the month-end closing process.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and assist with reconciliation of general ledger accounts during the month-end closing process.
Analyze and review financial reports, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), sub-ledgers, and balance sheets.
Process and verify customer contracts and billing, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and assist with reconciling billing issues, resolving claims, and providing general support through shared mailboxes.
Participate in month-end mass deduction accruals and reconcile cash receipts to the general ledger.

Qualifications:
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated experience with billing, AP, AR, and cash applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Position Details:
Employment Type: Long-term contract with the potential for extension.
Location: 100% Remote
Hourly Rate: $29/hr
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST
