We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our Lower School team. This position requires a teacher with the developmental and pedagogical background to embrace young children in a warm, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment. Candidates should collaborate well with team members and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff
• Implement technology for teaching and learning
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to promote a cohesive learning experience
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
• State certification or Statement of Eligibility
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
